Otoplasty

Prominent protruding ears, first noticed in early childhood, frequently are subject childhood teasing and subsequent social frustrations.  This social anxiety can continue into adulthood causing grief and self consciousness.

Otoplasty, or ear pinning surgery, is recommended after the age of five.  By this age the ear shape and ear cartilage are near adult size.

Dr. Kwak uses special suture techniques that have been proven to provide a natural and lasting change to the shape of the ear.
