FACELIFT
As we age, our face undergoes predictable changes. Certain areas start to sag and the skin starts to develop wrinkles. These changes can be most prominent on the lower one-third of the face and the neck region, where the face takes on a more square shape. The facelift addresses these changes by improving the sagging neck line and tightening the jawline to re-establish a more oval and youthful appearance to the neck.
Your Consultation
During your consultation with Dr. Kwak feel free to discuss your facial appearance concerns. Dr. Kwak will ask for your medical history along with medications. Upon examination of your face and neck, Dr. Kwak will review with you his recommendations. He may also recommend other facial rejuvenation procedures that complement a facelift to achieve optimal results.
Surgery
Facelift surgery can be performed at the same time other facial rejuvenation procedures are done. The surgeries are performed at accredited surgery centers in Manhattan or at one of Dr. Kwak's affiliated hospitals in New York City. All surgeries will be monitored by a board-certified anesthesiologist.
Dr. Kwak takes pride in performing a natural appearing facelift. He is one of a few surgeons who uses an inconspicuous face lift incision, so women and men are able to wear any type of hairstyle after a facelift with Dr. Kwak.
