Surgery
Revision Eyelid surgery is an in-office, same day surgery. Technically, revision surgery is more challenging for surgeons, since new scar tissue has formed and normal anatomy was changed due to prior surgery.
Sutures are generally removed 5-7 days after surgery. Swelling associated with revision surgery can last longer than primary surgery, generally about 2 weeks to one month.
