Are You a Candidate for Revision Rhinoplasty?

Rhinoplasty is the second most-popular cosmetic surgery procedure for U.S. men and among the top 10 plastic surgery procedures requested by women.
Overall, rhinoplasty came in 6th in the national ranking of most popular cosmetic procedures in the U.S., according to statistics compiled by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Unfortunately, many of the people who undergo a “nose job” are not as pleased with the results as they hoped to be. Plastic surgery to reshape the nose (rhinoplasty) is a complex procedure that requires expert knowledge, highly-practiced skill, delicate technique, and a flair for the artistic. - 1. How long ago your plastic surgery procedure was performed. The patient’s nose must be completely healed from the original rhinoplasty procedure before revision rhinoplasty can be performed. This can take up to a full year; sometimes longer for the sensitive tip of the nose.
